Terms of Use

Traverse helps you prepare and check draft survey plans. You remain responsible for source measurements, coordinate assumptions, professional review, backups and the lawful use of client data.

1. The service and its operator

These terms cover Traverse at traverse.ng and its supported applications. The operator is KLEVAR LTD, a Nigerian private company limited by shares, RC 8850017, at Behind 7Steps, Edem Road, Ngwo, Enugu State, Nigeria. Contact info@klevar.ai and mention Traverse.

Use Traverse only if you can lawfully enter into an agreement and are authorized to handle the information you supply. If you use it for an organization or client, ensure that you have the necessary authority. These terms do not transfer anyone's professional licence or certify a survey.

2. Draft plans and professional responsibility

Traverse is a drafting and calculation aid. It does not conduct a field survey, verify land ownership, establish title, certify legal boundaries or replace a qualified surveyor's judgement. Outputs remain drafts and unverified until the relevant professional review and approval. Do not remove required draft, warning or provenance information to misrepresent an output.

Check measurements, point order, coordinate system, units, scale, closure, geometry, labels and export settings against your source survey. Review the final file before issuing it. Features that are unavailable, held or experimental must not be represented as approved professional deliverables.

3. Your content and permitted use

You retain your rights in the project content you supply. You give us the limited permission needed to store, process, back up, transmit and display that content when you request connected services or support. That permission does not give us ownership of your survey or authorize selling your data.

Respect privacy, confidentiality, intellectual-property and professional obligations. Do not upload information unlawfully, impersonate another person, access another tenant's records, distribute malicious files, attack the service, or use generated plans for fraud. Provide only the client and landowner information needed for your work and ensure you have a lawful basis to use it.

4. Our software and your licence

KLEVAR LTD owns Traverse: its software and code, screens, design, templates, documentation, and the way it calculates and presents plans. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Traverse for your own survey work, or your organization's, under these terms. We can end the licence as section 5 describes. Your project content and the plans you export stay yours, as section 3 says.

You must not do any of the following, or help, instruct or use any person, bot, script or AI agent to do them:

Ordinary use is allowed: opening the app, letting your browser or device keep it for offline work, and keeping your own exports and backups. If you break this section, we may suspend or end your access under section 5 and take any other action the law allows.

5. Local work, accounts and recovery

Local drafting can be used without an account. Local storage is tied to the device/browser and is not guaranteed to survive clearing data, device failure or uninstalling the application. Keep independent exports and recovery backups. Signing out does not remove local projects, so protect shared devices.

Optional cloud services require accurate account information, a valid session and any applicable workspace permission or consent. Protect your credentials and tell us about suspected misuse. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention or legal compliance. We will provide notice and a recovery/contact route where reasonably possible and legally permitted.

Cloud availability and offline recovery depend on the feature, prepared local state, connectivity and supported platform. Do not rely on an untested sync, backup, sharing link or notification as the only copy of important work. Removing access to an online record cannot retrieve files already downloaded by recipients.

6. Privacy and external services

The Privacy Policy explains local and cloud data handling, Google sign-in, providers, international processing and rights requests. To keep Traverse working and improve it, we collect scrubbed usage analytics and error reports by default, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can change your analytics choice or turn off error reports at any time without losing any features or local drafting. Browser push needs your separate consent. Your chosen external providers and independent recipients may also have their own terms and privacy obligations.

7. Plans, fees, renewal, cancellation and refunds

Traverse Free costs nothing and needs no account for local drafting. Traverse Pro adds DXF import, per-plan drawing controls, per-project paper customisation, more than one sheet per project, batch delivery and site-detail drafting. Plans and projects you make with Pro keep opening, rendering and exporting on Free; Pro only unlocks changing those settings and using those tools.

Free month. Each new Traverse account gets one month of Pro at no cost. Accounts that existed before 1 November 2026 get the month from that date. No card is needed, and the free month does not turn into a paid plan on its own: when it ends the account returns to Free unless you choose to subscribe.

Price. Traverse Pro costs NGN 9,999 a month or NGN 99,999 a year. The price shown before you pay is the full amount charged; no VAT is currently added. Payments are processed by Paystack, and Traverse never receives your card details. A plan is for one workspace and starts when Traverse verifies the payment.

Renewal. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each month or year and is charged to the card you authorised with Paystack, until you cancel. If we change the price, we will tell you before the change applies to your next renewal, and you can cancel before then. If a renewal payment fails, Pro stays available for three days while you update your card; after that the account returns to Free.

Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from Account > Manage billing, or by writing to info@klevar.ai. Cancelling stops future renewals. You keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for, and then the account returns to Free.

Refunds. If you ask within 14 days of the first payment for a plan, monthly or annual, we will refund that payment in full and Pro ends when the refund is processed. Later renewals are not refunded, except for a charge made in error or where the law requires a refund. Ask for a refund at info@klevar.ai. Refunds go back to the original payment method through Paystack. Mandatory consumer rights remain applicable.

We may improve, maintain or change the service. We will give appropriate notice of material changes where required and publish updated terms with their date. An existing contract or legal right is not removed merely by editing this page.

8. Availability, responsibility and disputes

We aim to provide the service with reasonable care, but do not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free software, suitability for every survey, official acceptance of a plan, or recovery of every lost file. The documented warnings, supported environments and professional checks form part of how the service must be used.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer and data-protection rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Each party remains responsible to the extent required by applicable law. We do not claim that a general disclaimer removes our own legal duties.

Contact info@klevar.ai first so we can investigate a concern. Nigerian law governs these terms, subject to mandatory rights and jurisdiction rules that apply to you. You can use competent courts and relevant regulators; these terms do not require private arbitration or waive a lawful complaint route.
